Listview (default puzzle display): Where is all starts

Whenever you search for puzzles or open a folder, you’ll land in the Listview, which displays your search results in a long, scrolling list.

  • The total number of puzzles in the list is shown in the upper left corner (e.g., "8" in the screenshot).

  • Each puzzle entry includes:
    • Puzzle Name (at the top)
    • Preferred Image (in the middle)
    • Brand & Piece Count (at the bottom)
  • At the very bottom of each entry, additional statistics are displayed, such as:
    • The number of users who have the puzzle on their wishlist
    • The number of users who have marked the puzzle as completed
    • The average rating and difficulty rating, along with the number of users who rated the puzzle

💡 If a puzzle is already on your wishlist, the small heart icon will turn purple (instead of the usual red), making it easy to track your wishlist items.

To view detailed puzzle information, simply click/tap on a puzzle.

This will display the detail view - more info here

Filtering and ordering your list

At the top left corner, you’ll find the filter and order icon

Clicking it expands the menu.

Filtering:

  • Helps narrow down the list if you have many puzzles in a folder.
  • Click the + icon to add filters one by one—you can filter by Brand, Pieces, Artist, or Collection Name.
  • You can apply multiple filters (e.g., selecting two brands plus one artist) to refine the displayed puzzles.

Ordering:

  • While filters define which puzzles to show, ordering determines how they are sorted.
  • You can sort puzzles by multiple fields (e.g., first by Brand, then by Piece Count within each Brand).
  • Toggle ascending/descending order using the arrow icon.
  • Remove sorting by clicking the trash can icon.

💡 Filtering and ordering only modify how your list is displayed, not the actual puzzle collection.

Listview Toolbar: Key Functions

Above the puzzle list, a toolbar provides additional functions, depending on what’s in the list:

  • Back Button (not visible above): Returns to your previous search or puzzle view.
  • Dynamic Folder: Saves your search as a named folder, allowing you to re-run the search later by reopening it.  This is very handy for searches you want to run again at a later stage.
  • Share Button: Generates a shareable link to the current list, which you can copy and past into emails, social media, etc.  The link will then open the Listview screen.  For more information on sharing puzzles, see here.
  • Puzzle Wheel Button: Picks a random puzzle from puzzles within the folder where you click this button.  A fun way to decide which puzzle to do next perhaps!
  • Export Button: Opens a dropdown menu with export options:
    • CSV Format – Useful for organizing puzzles in external apps (e.g., Excel) or creating offline backups.
    • PDF Format – Generates a visual list of all puzzles, with customizable information.
    • XML Format – Offers another structured data export alternative to CSV.

Gallery Mode as Listview

In your User Settings, you can enable Gallery Mode, which transforms the Listview into a more visual display. Instead of showing puzzle information, the images appear larger, offering a cleaner, more image-focused experience.

This mode is ideal if you prefer a grid-like layout with minimal distractions, focusing purely on the visuals of each puzzle.
