Images: I Cannot Upload Pictures

Sometimes, you may find that images cannot be uploaded. There may be various reasons for this. Below are the most common ones:

1.  Slow Internet / WI-FI connection

When the internet or Wi-Fi connection is weak, it may impact your ability to upload images, as depending on the image size, they will require a decent upload capability. This may be due to weather, the overall load on your service at certain times of the day, provider maintenance, etc

Try again a bit later when the connection has improved.

2. The App needs to be closed & restarted
If the App has been left open for a lengthy period (days, for example), without having been closed/swiped off the screen, it could be that it has gone stale and is struggling to accept new information

Try to shut down the app/swipe it off your screen. Then restart and check if the problem persists.

3. The phone/computer needs a reboot
If your phone or computer hasn't been restarted for a while, you may have many processes running in the background. These all require processing resources and may prevent the IPDb App from working properly

Try to shut down your phone or laptop completely. Wait for about 5 minutes, or so, then restart it. It could be as simple as that! :-)

4.  Internet browser cache is full/needs to be cleared

Whenever you load websites or do searches, these are logged and 'cached' in your browser so that the next time you access the same website or app, it won't take you as long to load everything

Over time, however, this 'cache' can become quite big, resulting in many browser services slowing down or not loading at all... This may end up showing you a blank screen with a sad face icon.

By clearing your browser 'cache', it may resolve the issue, as it will start your browser with a clean slate.

Clearing a browser 'cache' is different for each browser or device, so you may need to Google what needs to be done for your specific situation.
