Using filters on search results to refine your search

So you have done a Search, on the Search Screen and you see the results, but it has still returned many hundreds of puzzles!
Don't worry - now that you have landed on the Search Result screen, you can refine your search more by the use of filters and arrange the results in ascending or descending order.
Example
We will give an example based on searching for a puzzle with 3000 pieces, thinking there won't be that many.
However, when you get to the result it turns out, that there are already more than 180 puzzles in IPDb!

You might see a few Brands you don't like, or know you can't get in your country so maybe, you only want to see results from 3 major Brands - Ravensburger, Educa and Clementoni, and then order them by Brand.
Filters
The first step will be to add some Brand filters to reduce the search result to just those 3 Brands. Click/tap on the little cone icon next to the Search Result title at the top of the screen - this will give you the filter options.

To add your first Brand filter, click/tap on the + icon to the right of the filter option. Then from the "Brand" options of the filter, select the first Brand "Ravensburger" - this will reduce the results down to 27 records - the 180 original has now been filtered down to just Ravensburger 3000 piece puzzles.

You also want to see any Educa and Clementoni records which were part of the original Search Result. To achieve this, repeat the above filter steps, and add a filter, each, for both, Educa & Clementoni. This has now increased the result to 54 records which comprises all 3000-piece jigsaws in IPDb for the 3 Brands.
However, these results are listed in order of when they were entered into IPDb, and you would rather see them ordered/grouped by brand. (See Ordering Results below)
Ordering Results
In the cone icon at the top left of the Search Results screen, you might also have noticed an - "Order By" option.
When clicking/tapping on the + icon behind the Order option, you will be presented with all the fields you can, Order By - as we want to order by Brand, we will select Brand.

This will now sort the 54 results in ascending order (default) by Brand. So all Clementoni first, then the Educa, followed by Ravensburger.
If you wish to reverse the order (make it descending), go to the cone icon and look at your Order By option.
You can change it back to ascending by clicking/tapping the Order By icon again.

The above was just an example of Brand Filters and ordering but you can try any other combinations to narrow your search down to just the puzzles that you want to see (E.g. Add an artist name if you only want to see a particular artist's puzzles, etc.), or order it by a different criteria.
