Last Update منذ شهرين

The March 2025 release,  also known as version 3.1, brings exciting updates centered around Completed and Timed puzzles.

Previously, puzzles in IPDb were either marked as completed or not completed by you. Now, you can record the completion date for each puzzle, unlocking the ability to receive stunning monthly badges based on this data.

We have also introduced a new Stopwatch feature, allowing you to time yourself whilst solving your jigsaw puzzles.  This completion time can be logged when marking a puzzle as complete.

These enhancements are entirely optional, giving you the flexibility to personalise your experience as you see fit.

In version 3.1, we have improved teh way this information is presented to you.

Log your Puzzle Teammates

When completing a puzzle as part of a pair or group, you can now log your teammates - provided they are IPDb users (which we assume they are 😉 ).

Simply select Teammates from the dropdown menu, which pulls from your contacts.  To ensure this works, make sure your Teammates have been added as contacts in your App Settings. If you are unsure how to add contacts, refer to the knowledgebase by searching for "Contacts" for step-by-step guidance.

Most recently completed puzzles

Previously, the most recently completed puzzles were accessible from the burger menu. Now, access is conveniently located in the home header via the Completion Tick icon.

Obviously, only puzzles with a specified completion date will appear in this list.

The list view offers detailed information about each completed puzzle.

Below the puzzle image, you will find the Avatar of the person who completed it, along with the completion date and the time taken to finish.
Additional details include the brand and the number of pieces.

Timed puzzles have now been integrated into the Search Tool

Timed puzzles, previously accessible from the burger menu, have been integrated into the Search Tool, allowing them to be combined with other  search criteria.

When you select "Only Timed Puzzles", the search results will exclusively show puzzles with a recorded completion time.

The appearance of the search results will differ slightly when this filter is applied

Below the puzzle image, alongside the brand and piece count, you will find additional details, such as:

  • The number of recorded completion times IPDb for this puzzle
  • The number of different users who have recorded a completion time
  • The speed range for these users, expressed as pieces per minute (ppm), from the slowest to the fastest.

Furthermore, additional "Order By" options are available for such results.

You can sort / order your list by:

  • Completion date (most recent),
  • Best completion time,
  • Number of completions, or
  • Maximum speed.

New "Timed" Folder

We have added a new System folder to your folders section called "Timed", which lists all your completions with a registered time.

This folder presents your results with the following details:

  • The Avatar of the team members who completed the puzzle
  • The completion date, and
  • The time taken to finish the puzzle

Your "Timed" folder also offers "Order By" options, enabling you to sort results by date, time spent, or speed.
