IPDb App Updates - September 2024

BARCODE SCANNER

The barcode has been updated to the latest version from the barcode standards. Android users may not see the big change, whereas users on iPhone and desktop computers are expected to see a huge jump in quality.

If you haven't tried it yet, please give it a shot and let us know if you still see issues via the ticket system in the Help Center.

PRIVATE FOLDERS

Private folders are an excellent tool to organize your private puzzle collection. Add puzzles to your private folders to keep related things together.

Previously, the number of Private Folders was limited to 8 per user. This limitation has now been lifted and, you can now have as many Private Folders as you like. 

In addition, we have added the option to create folders within folders, or as we call them - subfolders.

Subfolders are created by clicking the button below in a particular main folder.

The subfolders will appear at the top of the screen when displaying the folder.

You can enter a folder by clicking it and return to the parent folder, using the back arrow button.

Puzzles are added to folders in the same way as usual -  from the menu in the puzzle detail screen.

You will notice that subfolders are slightly indented under their parent folder.
