Making Your Images Pop

by adjusting the perspective

Recently, I discovered a wonderful free tool that helps me make my puzzle images look even better. The tool is called GIMP and it is freely downloadable on the internet. Just ask Google to find it for you.

In this article, I will explain what it does for me so that you can decide if this is also for you.

I load the image into GIMP (Actual image is not my image...)

I use a tool called Perspective

I manipulate the diamond to put the top-right corner at the top-right corner of the rectangle

I then do the same for the other 3 corners

Then I hit the transform button in the small window in the upper-right corner and I have my result

I then save the image back to desk

And review the result in Windows Image Viewer

I now insert the file into IPDb, and I think this tool makes my image look terrific; no disturbing background and straight like a stamp - it only takes a minute, once you get the hang of it.
