Account: Can I use a personalised Avatar?

Yes! You certainly can!

1. Go to the SETTINGS page (Cog icon)
2. In the Account Section, you will be able to change your default smiley face to either a photo of choice (selfie/photo, from your albums) or replace it with a different emoji

Camera icon
If your device has a camera, you can select it to take a selfie or upload a picture from your picture gallery. If your device does not have a camera, you can still select and upload any of your gallery photos.

Emoji icon
Want to keep it simple? Just select your preferred emoji from the emoji pick list.

Selecting a user display name/alias

Underneath the avatar, you should also enter your preferred IPDb member name.

Here, you can enter the name you want to be known by, in the IPDb member community.

Please keep it clean! ;-) 

Both your user name and avatar will display in several places in the app, 

Eg: at the bottom of the detailed VIEW of each puzzle you have entered (with a link for other members to see all the puzzles you have contributed), at the top of the screen when your puzzle list is displayed, or in messages sent to other members.

Submission counter

This is the number that displays underneath your avatar picture, and represents the number of puzzles that you have contributed to the IPDb database, to date.

This number will increase over time as you enter more puzzles. :-)

It will also display individual link icons related to the number of submissions you have done for:

• puzzles
• ratings
• reviews
• if you are an Admin or Donor/Member
