It happens to the best of us - you cannot remember your password!

Not to worry, you can easily reset it if you ever need to do so!

Email login password reset

  • Navigate to the SETTINGS page (cog icon at the bottom of the screen)
  • In the Account section, click/tap the Login button
  • Select 'Use Email' from the pop-up window
  • You can enter your email here and then select: "I forgot my password
  • You will see a notification pop-up to advise that 'a reset link has been emailed to you'
  • After clicking the link in your email, you will have the opportunity to choose a new password (minimum 6 characters)
  • After pressing SAVE, you will be notified that you can now log back in with your new login

Google, Microsoft & Apple login password reset

These passwords are not controlled by the IPDb app. You will, therefore, need to follow the reset procedures for a password change on these platforms to have the login password reset.

Mobile phone login password reset

The mobile phone login does not have a permanent password.

An SMS will be sent to you with a new Unique Access Code every time you need to log in.

However, depending on your location or mobile reception, you may not be able to receive this code at all times.

It's therefore recommended to maybe also register a 2nd account with either your email address or Google account to ensure that you will have at least 1 method to log in if your mobile phone login is problematic at times.

NOTE - please ensure to create the 2nd account from WITHIN your mobile account, so that both accounts will be linked (otherwise, they will end up being 2 separate accounts)

For more information about adding additional login methods, see: Customising Accounts
